After a superb win in the Gr1 Thekweni Stakes, the as yet unbeaten (from three starts) daughter of Dynasty out of Rathmor's resident broodmare Mystery Dame secured the award for Best Performed 2YO Filly at Gold Circle's KZN Racing Awards on Tuesday evening.

Lady In Black won an Equus Award two weeks ago as South Africa's Champion 2YO Filly for the 2016/2017 season.

The two year old champion filly is a R1,1million Nationals graduate whilst Rathmor Stud sold her full brother, Identity Thief, earlier this year at Nationals for R1,7million to John Freeman.

Mystery Dame by Jet Master is out of Dame Kiri by Flaming Rock – this damline has produced The Merry Widow, Dance With Al and Singapore champion Lizarre. Mystery Dame is a half-sister to Gr1 winner, Talahatchie.

Mystery Dame has an Oratorio yearling filly on the farm and will foal to Noble Tune this season.

Noble Tune's much anticipated first crop have just turned two and the incredible sire line of Unbridled's Song continues to bring in the Gr1 winners including the recent Forever Unbridled, a three time Gr1 winning full sister to (Gr 1 winner) Unbridled Forever.

Noble Tune is expecting foals from the following outstanding mares this season which include Big On Broadway, Royal Aspen, Gr3 winner Eventual Angel, Spitfire Lady, Victory Garden, Azure Sky and Gypsy's Warnings half-sister (Golden Earings) by exceptional broodmare sire Fort Wood.

Well done to owners Miss N Mitchell and Mr W J C Mitchell and trainer Dennis Drier.
